Dear all,

Realized this post is stuck in my drafts. So i shall post it up.

After ten days and 3 tiring flights later, I’m back in London!

This time, I’ve decided to spend a full day by myself. Woke up 3am in the morning jet lagged, I’ve decided to plan my eventful day.

Headed to gym after a hearty breakfast, jogged around the hotel while taking in all the scenic views. Well, not bragging but everyone was in jackets and boots while I’m clad in tank top and tights. Ended up becoming the center of attention wherever I jogged.

After that, I went back to wash up and is all ready to blend in with the locals.

I used to not really appreciate London, (spent most of the time eating and shopping) until right now. I’ve stopped joining others for shopping (that often tires me cause of all the waiting), and instead, this time round, I got lost alone, shopped alone, ate alone, jogged alone, and chilled alone in Starbucks.

Right now, I’m actually blogging in Starbucks in town. weather is awesome here! Gloomy as usual, chilly, and best part of all, it didn’t rain!

So, all the alone time got me thinking about my future. And finally, I’ve decided to further my studies in Kaplan – University of Mudoch, majoring in MARKETING. Was torn between single major, Marketing, or double major, Hopspitality and events with Marketing. Enough of procrastination! Am gonna get myself enrolled for the next trimester.

Okay, enough said. I bought super lots of interesting and useful goodies in London and I’ll be sharing it in my next post!

ps: the caramel frappacino is so sweet here!

Signing off,
Asian in London.

Good day everyone!

Greetings from London. Finally got to London after slogging for the past 15 hours!

This time, I got to meet a bunch of wonderful girls and we had a crazy time at Burger and Lobster. One down side of the trip: ALL THE SHOPS ARE CLOSED SO EARLY ON A SUNDAY! Failed Zara, Newlook, Topshop and Primark-ing today.

Cabbed all the way downtown just to try the infamous Burger Lobster in London. Well, not damn fantastic, but its not bad.

While waiting for our table, (which took us 45 minutes bytheway).

Would say its rather stressful having your meal there as the staff aren’t exactly very free to assist you. But oh well, nonetheless, as Asians, we ain’t afraid to make them help us take pictures.

Take for today, it doesn’t matter where you go, it’s who you go with that defines your trip.

Thank you girls!

As usual, bimbotic B needs her outfitoftheday. Hahahahahahaha.

Bonjour lovelies!

With only two hours of sleep, I am determined to explore (erhem, shopping malls?) Paris!

20130903-223022.jpg

First day was rather short as we only get half a day and we are all determined to shop. (It’s Paris, don’t you judge.)

So we managed to cover the famous shopping mall LAFAYETTE and famous st CHAMPS ÉLYSÉES.

20130903-223622.jpg

The infamous LV flagship store. Was sooooo tempted to get a bag there but I promised myself not more than a bag per trip. Ahahhaha!

So…. I did a few research and set my eyes on the…..

YSL belle de jour clutch

Was very very tempted to get it in this color

20130903-224221.jpg

20130903-224241.jpg

But they are left with the black, camel, red and pink. Am glad they made a choice for me.

I’m loving my new clutch!

20130903-224413.jpg

Okay, so the first day ended with us having mussels and fries for dinner and watching the Eiffel Tower bling at night.

20130903-224628.jpg

We couldn’t even buck up the energy to take a train back. Ended up taking a cab, quite an experiencing trying to converse with the cab driver in my fake French.

So, the next day was very fruitful as I managed to meet my friend Rena and her friends for picnic which I blogged in the previous post while she joined my friends and I in the morning to explore Paris!

Was a little disappointed that I didn’t have enough time to go to the lovers bridge, well, not that I have one anyway.

Okay, to start off the day, we have to have a camwhoring picture In the hotel room don’t we.

20130903-225124.jpg
Oh god, my face is so bloated.

First stop, the SACRED HEART for breakfast. (Well, second breakfast considering the fact that I had mine in the hotel already)

After that, we took off to exploreeeeeee…. First stop, (which I pretend it to be the ‘now you see me’ merry go round.)

20130903-225459.jpg

Warning, most of the pictures contain one leg-kicked-up-pose as we are pretentious like that.

20130903-225623.jpg

20130903-225706.jpg
Candid!

20130903-225755.jpg

20130903-225823.jpg

20130903-225843.jpg

We are at the top of Paris!

Went into the church and made a prayer while lighting the candle, we followed the rules of no photo taking so no pictures.

Next stop, Moulin Rouge!

Oh, while on the way there, stop by this famous st.

20130903-230057.jpg

And spent 20 euros on a self portrait that doesn’t look like me.

20130903-230328.jpg

And while everyone got themselves ice-cream, I got…

20130903-230410.jpg

Okay…. Finally………

20130903-230641.jpg

20130903-230652.jpg

Berilyn Monroe.
Thank got its wind and not steam.

That’s our last stop before picnic and well, girls being girls, random selfies time.

20130903-231228.jpg

Shall end this post with love.

Ciao Bella!

I know it has been ages since I last blogged, (already a year has past!) reason was pure laziness.

It has been a fun and eye opening year for me and Im leading an almost completely different lifestyle compared to a year ago. Some of the posts shocked me and it made me shudder when I saw how I looked then.

Enough of the boring introduction and time for the real treat. I’ve decided to log down my travel experiences here so that a year later, I could judge what I am doing presently.

As passionately as I can be, I’ve yet to sleep after touching down from Paris (I know right) and insisted that I finish this blog entry.

A short trip to Paris.

In total, I spent 2 days in Paris. Spent the first day shopping and the next sight seeing and picnic-ing.

20130903-092433.jpg

Went to the Eiffel Tower with my batch girl and her colleagues. It was fun in a chilly way, (literally chilly).

20130903-170635.jpg

Look at the amount of food we had! It made me want to picnic around the world!

20130903-170929.jpg

The majestic view of the Eiffel Tower in the day.

20130903-171125.jpg

20130903-171317.jpg

You can’t blame me for camwhoring, it’s Paris!

20130903-171659.jpg

Tried taking artsy picture.

20130903-173150.jpg

Dearest readers,

20130903-172259.jpg

20130903-172324.jpg

Trying my app, what a failed attempt editing.

I would say, the place is awesome, but the most important part is the company. I’m so glad to meet my friend in Paris.

Paris is really a damn romantic place, being there made me want to be recklessly in love, Stopping by every old buildings kissing while the sun set.

Talking about sun setting, we waited for the sun to set to see the Eiffel Tower lighted up.

20130903-172951.jpg

The majestic view of the tower at night.

Intend to *jumpshot* in every country.

Shall end this post here. Will blog about my shopping and trip to the sacred heart and Moulin rouge in the next post.

Ps: pardon my rusty blogging skills.

Au revoir!

Hello all!

Bernice here from Oopspinion, as you all know, I am a glutton at times, i mean all times, thus, in order to keep in shape and all (which i often fail to), I ‘like’ to gym and stuff.

So recently, boyfriend and I have been reading up on topics about slimming down and he taught me a few common misconceptions that girls often have.

1) CARDIOs ARE NOT ALL YOU CAN DO TO SLIM DOWN!
Many articles state that doing cardio alone will not only burn fats, it burn off your muscles too! And muscles actually require more energy to function whereas fats don’t. So if you want your metabolism rate to go up, (meaning if you want to burn more calories while doing NOTHING) you have to gain more muscles. And if you rely on cardio solely, you will burn off your muscles along with those fat which means your metabolism rate will actually slow down! I know I know, girls often think that cardio is the best way to slim down cuz you sweat it all out and literally see the ‘calories burn’ stated on the machine. But hey, give weights training a try, you might like it more! (at least i do.)

2) I DON’T WANT TO BULK UP!
Yes, thats what i thought too. But really, female doesn’t produce that much testosterone as male and thus, we wouldn’t bulk up! Plus, there are millions of men out there TRYING to bulk up but they can’t, so girls, lets not think so highly of ourselves, its not that easy to bulk up. Female body builders usually take steroids to help them bulk up, so yea, we wont.

3) WEIGHTS ARE ONLY FOR MEN.
Oh please, if they are only for men, I don’t know what are the 2kgs and 5kgs weights for.

4) I WILL LIFT LIGHT WEIGHTS BUT DO MORE REPS.
This is useful too, but in order for better results in building muscles, we have to lift heavier! Push yourself to the limit.

Ohya, you can check out the Twin Muscle Workout videos for female! It’s hilarious and useful!

Cheers,
Oops-B

Hey 2012,

You’ve been a good year! I have experienced so many things, been through adventures and changes.

I went travelling more often, explored brunch cafes, picked up baking; bugged my sister to take OOTD shots for me and found joy in everything I do.

2013, I will be more courageous to welcome challenges that will mould me into a stronger girl, be more appreciative & of coz, procrastinate lesser!

I have adored 2012, & am already falling in love with 2013!

Till then,

Bizhi!

Dear Friends,

It has been long since I last blogged (yeah, this line actually do sound familiar) and I was creeped out by my previous blog entries.

Life hasn’t been all sugary for me lately, but I would say, I’ve made a few drastic changes. Life likewise.

As “intellectual” as I am, (erhem.) I’ve been reading some books and thought I should share it with you guys.

Finally read “50 Shades of Grey” and I would say, I’m not a fan of it. People around me (namely Bizhi and Jane) were quite crazy over it, and I thought I should give it a try. But sadly, I’m still stucked at the first sequel (3/4) and I couldn’t bring myself to finish it. I thought I was the least prude out of the gang, but guess what, this book is too crude for me!

What I really recommend is this book called “The Blue Notebook” and it is inspired by a true story. Yes, it is about sex too, but this is the disturbingly sad kind. It is about child sex slavery. Wouldn’t want to spoil much, but here’s the gist of it.

It is a journal of this girl, name Batuk from India, and she was sold to her so called uncle at a tender age of 9, by her own father. Her uncle then dumped her to the child slavery slum after selling her virginity. She was then further abused sexually in the slum and one day, she was sent to the “Street of Cages” where she was locked up in row of rooms while waiting for her patrons to visit her for sexual pleasure. Later in the story, she was picked up by a rich man to live in a hotel, where she continued being abused by her buyer’s son. She was “hired” to teach the son how to make love, where she addressed as ‘baking sweet cakes’.

The ending is heartbreaking and I really recommened this book!

Cheers,
Oops-Bernice
